New York School for the Deaf purchased a 71 acre hilly wooded farm
on Knollwood Road, White Plains in 1934. Constructed seven
buildings prior to the moving in 1938. One building and annexes
to the Currier Hall in 1964. Johnson Pavilion in 1964 and Cloud
and Gardner Cottages in 1970.
